at a festival recently a lady asked me,
"Which art is yours". I pointed to my
collection, and she said, "Oh, your art
looks like you."

| all artists have to come up with words to describe their art.... My art is a rhythmic communication of lines, shapes, and colors that reflects my life experiences and interactions with others. Through my art, I create a dialogue with the world that combines the real world with my imagination. While my creations on wood and canvas have deep meaning to me, I feel it is important that my art present itself in an uncomplicated way. That it be simply stated- with defined use of line, space, and color- the basic elements of visual communication. My designs- 2 dimensional paintings, assemblage art, and art furniture- are strongly influenced by Gustav Klimt, Paul Klee, and Roland Hockett, among others. The rhythm of my life affects the surface, the colors, the strength, and the mood of what I create. |

My art is a rhythmic communication of lines, shapes, and colors that reflects my life experiences and
interactions with others. Through my art, I create a dialogue with the world that combines the real
