Heather has created and instructed children’s art programs at the Junior Museum of Bay County, Bay County
YMCA, Visual Arts Center of NW Florida, Gulf Alliance of Local Artists, and City Arts Co-Op: creative
cooperative for visual, literary, and performing artists.
Her adult art classes and workshops are run through Gulf Coast Community College Encore Program
(Gulf/Franklin and Bay County campuses), Gulf Alliance of Local Arts, Panama City Beach Senior Center,
City Arts Co-Op, and various other commercial venues.
Heather generously donates her art and instruction to local charities and fundraisers including Bay County
NOW, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, Chautauqua Charter School, Empty Bowl, Disability
Resource Center, Emerald Coast Business Women’s Association, Covenant Hospice, Taste of the Coast,
Junior Museum of Bay County, Historical Society of Bay County, and others.
Dedicated to the success of local art and artists, Heather’s articles are published in Bay Arts Magazine. She
has served on the board of Panama City Artists for 5 years, and is the President for 2009. As a founding
member and Creative Director of City Arts Co-Op: creative collective for visual, literary, and performing
artists (2004-present), Heather’s goal is to make local art and art experiences available to all of the
community.
